Children are very creative, and my niece was so excited to collaborate with me that she began right away. This is her first study. She's making a second one without the written words.

Support Handmade
I commissioned my four-year-old niece to create artwork, which will serve as the brand logo attached to homemade gifts I'll be sending this Christmas. Since my first series of knitted gifts is called The Credit Crunch Collection, it is also befitting that I don't use expensive store-bought cards or a graphic designer.

Children are very creative, and my niece was so excited to collaborate with me that she began right away. This is her first study. She's making a second one without the written words.

i love it! the painting looks great - and i love how the lavender reminds me of people.
what a great idea, and i love the "credit crunch collection" name. ::laughs:: i may be inspired to finish a project i started LAST year for christmas.
Children's art can really serve as interesting imagery because they have such a fresh point-of-view :)
that's a great idea! kids are really natural artists. maybe i'll commission my 3 yo nephew to do one for me too hehe
