In southern France, life is not possible without sunglasses, even in the winter. Here in Marseille, there's this bright glare from the sun's reflection on the sea, and Provence's clear blue skies magnify the sun's rays.

I've gone through many pairs of sunglasses since I arrived here. Some were stolen, some lost, some broken, some worn until their last dying breath.
