I'm a great fan of Christian Lacroix. I went out of my way to see two of his special retrospective exhibitions. Now his haute couture business is closing shop. There will be a skeletal staff of 11 employees left, to handle accessories and fragrance.

I hope a private investor opens a small and permanent fashion museum for Lacroix couture, to preserve his work, his hertiage ... just like how Yves Saint Laurent has a museum.
