My Last Hurrah

On a whim, I bought tickets to Boracay and spent four lovely days in the sun. I'd been hosting friends from the Italian Embassy, and had so much fun that I decided to join their Boracay trip at the last minute, returning to Manila the day before I have to fly back to the French winter.



Our welcome treat from Discovery Shores, where I booked a loft-style premiere suite.



I went out for three nights in a row, enjoying live music and great conversation. I spent the daytime with Giuliano, introducing to him the sensation of fine sand on his toes and the feel of warm saltwater on his body. He just turned 7 months.



I had deep tissue massages at Mandala Spa, and enjoyed three consecutive days of perfect sunsets. A lovely ending to my three-month holiday in the Philippines.
